Hello-
It’s been quite a while since I checked in. Here’s what's been going on.
The last few months were very busy for me. I performed W/Larry Coryell, Chuck Loeb, Phillippe Catherine, Ulf Wakenius, Jane Getter, Adam Holtzman, James Genus, Michel Camilo, Esperanza Spalding, David Sanchez, Wayne Krantz, Tim Lefevbre, Alex Acuna, Giovanni Hidalgo, Paquito D’Rivera, Danny Rivera, Marco Antonio Muniz, etc. In addition I performed with the NYC opera vox for a piece written by Dafnis Prieto and Anthony Davis. Most of these performances were in Europe, or the Caribbean, but some were in NY. Thanks to everyone who came out.
I have received some email recently in reference to when a new lesson will be posted. I have been taking a break from putting up a new lesson, mostly because of the schedule.
However recently I have had many ideas for new lessons through some private teaching, Master classes and email so I will most likely put a new one up in the next month or so...time permitting.

I have also received some email in reference to some new videos that have been posted. One in particular was a drum solo from a recent concert in Valencia Spain with Michel Camilo. Someone asked me if this concert was available for purchase. This video was apparently made from a camera or cell phone in the audience, so I doubt that the whole concert was filmed. I obviously have no control over people in the audience recording the shows, but the sound on this one is actually quite good. If any live shows become available on DVD or on the internet I will post the info here. I also received some inquiry’s about any newer live videos of me playing with Wayne Krantz. As far as I know the most recent video was a few years back in Terni Italy, again from a phone or camera, and is on my LINKS AND VIDEO page. There is a performance with Wayne and Anthony Jackson coming up in November that I believe will be recorded for a dvd, but we’ll see what happens. Also, there have been some questions about a live DVD that I played on from Japanese Artist Hikaru Utada at Budokan in 2004. To address the emails about this, it is in fact me on this DVD, and it was recorded live over a 5 night run at Budokan in Tokyo Japan in 2004. Apparently most of the youtube clips have been disabled due to licensing. So I have been getting questions about where it can be purchased. The name of the DVD is Utada Hikaru in Budokan 2004, and I think it can be purchased on Amazon.com, but that's all the info I have.
Coming up I will be doing some live shows in the US and Japan with Wayne Krantz, John Patitucci, Anthony Jackson, Michel Camilo NYC all star Big Band, etc. and will also be doing some Master Classes and clinics in Santo Domingo, and at LA Music Academy. For information please see my Calendar page.
